The WüBaBe enjoyed great weather in Bern last Saturday and even greater success on the pitch. The "Triple Alliance" started with a tough 1:7 loss to Zug's first team, but recovered with a 3 tries to 0 win over Z-W and a resounding 4:1 win over Zug's second team.
After the shaky start, the three teams merged well together behind the solid #9 play of Sam who was always quick to the breakdowns and scored 2 tries as well. Edwina continued her role as Field General and had quality carries. Lean had several electrifying runs for tries and was the best tackler on the field all day. Parker, Hugo, Comoe and Leif all advanced the ball well, played smartly at the breakdown and showed much improved tackling from last year.
After a great start the team has no competitions for the next four weeks and will look to keep improving until their next tournament in Luzern on Sunday, 4 May.
