Basel looked strong in the opening minutes, dominating the scrums and running at the opposition line with plenty of energy. But with just a couple of knock-ons and missed opportunities team composure and any chance of a quality end product dropped .

Credit to St. Gallen who managed the tricky weather conditions better and held on til the last 10 minutes to score the first try and claim a deserved win.
